I've had this problem with shutter and grabbing. Last year I had the flywheel resurfaced and things were fine for 100 miles. Shutter came back. Took it apart again and found hot spots just on one side of the flywheel. Putting the flywheel disc and pressure plate togather on the bench shows the fingers (diaphram PP) not equal. One side is lower. The PP by itself shows equal fingers. Not until I bolt everything togather does the finger become unequal. With the PP unbolted, the rim of the cover is equalizing the height of the fingers because they're touching the cover all the way around. If that's a new, or recently installed item, take it back to the vendor and exchange it! Jerry
