I have about 98% of my parts but I can't physically do the work on my project anymore & the guy who was to put my project together can't because of a 6 day work week w/12 hour days until who knows when. Can anyone recommend someone or a shop somewhere close to St Louis (at least that's what I would like) that does good work at a reasonable price???..joe

I really really wish I had the answer for you Joe. This is a more common problem than people realize. It takes years to do a proper restoration and health problems happen with no notice. I can totally relate. Good luck on your project, and if there is any hope you can do it yourself later, hold on to it and just wait. Your vision is YOURS. Everybody else has brain damage where YOUR VISION is concerned! Ask me how I know! LOL!

Problem is Deve is my body won't allow me to do it anymore. Last time I did anything on it was last fall. Took me 3 days to remove & replace a rear leaf spring. Then I spent the next 3-4 days in bed & on the couch on drugs recouping from it. There's no restoration on this one, the only thing left stock on it is the body. Everything & I mean everything else has been changed. Running a 30 over 425 mtr Cadillac w/a 400 turbo & a 8.8 Explorer rearend & it'll be close to the ground.....joe

Being from the SL area you are bound to be near several car clubs. Do some snooping at their local shows and cars and coffee gatherings. Tell them your story and I'm sure someone will supply you with a name or two. Good luck.
