Was wondering how people ran their wires to dome light without it being blatantly visible that there's a wire running up the cab. Do people go along the roof area or just up the back of the seat? Thanks,

Jonny

1950 cab?

The wire runs up/behind the driver-side door post, and then behind/above the roof cardboard to the rear of the cab, and then over to the dome light.

..Yeah...

you can see the wire on the top portion of the above pic.
the clips and wire are above the headliner

should be about 5 clips holding the wire in place

Blow a piece of string down the A pillar with compressed air. Tie it to the wire and pull it up.

If the blown string does not work, try fishing a copper wire from the top downwards. Connect the lead to the copper wire and pull up.

It is much harder to fish the wire from below the dash upwards.

Old speedometer cable (not the housing) works good for fishing the wires through also.

Wonderful, thank you gentlemen.

Dads50 - it brought me to an album, was there a specific picture I was supposed to look at?

you must be on a mobile device

here is the pic

but It may not be much help if your headliner is installed

it will show how the wire was found on my 50
held with clips
