Rear drums were used on most 1936-48 pass and 1936-50 1/2 ton.

Not many Huck brake systems around any more. Many, "restorers?"
opt for later braking systems such as disk or adapt Bendix.
Isn't a week go by here where we don't hear a question along
those lines.

of NOS front drums still in the boxes a couple of years ago.
Had to ship them up from a 'bolter in South America. Was real
worried about them getting lost in the mail coming all the way
from down there. The shipping and wait were at the long end but
all turned out fine. Some times it just takes extra effort to
dig them out of their hiding places.

I know that drums for the 3/4 are not available new either. I think some years back the truck vendors were selling 3/4 Huck style drums for either the front or the back, I can't remember. | | |
