Finally getting back to working on the truck…My next task will be cleaning up the frame and getting ready to paint it. The truck had a dump feature which I have taken off. When they put the dump frame on they cut the frame tails off at the last cross member. I want to get these tails made and welded back on and need to confirm the frame length before I do.
From what I can find the frame length is 221.172" total which looks like I need to extend approximately 29 1/2" back from the rear cross member.
Just wondering if someone could get a measurement from the rear cross member to the rear frame rail?
I will submit some pictures once I can get them loaded.

My 1951 9430 measures 10" from the rear of that crossmember to the end.

Hy tclederman and guys, the American equivalent of a Canadian 9430 series would be a 3804 I believe, hope that helps.

Is yours a flat bed frame? Would it be the same as the pick up frame?

I think they are the same. I think mine would have come out of the factory with no bed and a wooden farm bed was added. I think I have Emailed you at one time but if I had the address I could send you a photo of the frame rear. The lower flange expands right at that last crossmember.

By what you posted it looks like the 3800 series are 211-1/8" and it is the 4100 series that is 221-3/16". My manual didn't show the difference so I assumed they would be the same length.
