I picked up a 1947 2nd series 1.5 ton last fall. I have spent the winter crawling all over this truck, listing out my "to do list." It is super stock, but it has some field modifications. One that feels like a modification to me is that the fuel line takes a sharp turn to go under the frame rail and to the out board gas tank. Does anyone know the original route? I don't feel this is correct.
Thanks,
Matt

I'll dig through my old pictures but thinking it went through a hole in the frame close to the tank.
