Hi guys. I want to grab some new shocks for my short box 59 apache fleetside and wondered what others have tried and used. If you can let me know what brands, makes and model you liked, hated, etc. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Any good brand of the standard replacement shocks will work good on these trucks with leaf springs. There is enough friction in the leaves that its better not to have a stout heavy duty shock.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
