What a great bunch. I have 62 c10 step Im second owner. The 235 is paint BROWN any one know why. Thanks Matt

No doubt engine was pulled. Original I believe would have been blue or grey. Engine was probably pulled and rebuilt and someone painted it a different color.

welcome to the garage Matt, ask the first owner why, as TJ says, original would have been blue/grey, don't think there was any brown Chevy engines
