Do I need to use lettering paint in a striping tool? Or will regular paint work? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 67 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 67 | I use 1-Shot lettering paint to do pinstriping and lettering and I believe about the only difference is that they claim that it flows better from the paintbrush than regular paint, which it does flow quite nicely. It is leaded paint also. As for using a striping tool, you could probably use regular paint as long as you thin it properly. That might take a little experimentation to find the best mixture.
