I knew I could get some good opinions here. Thanks!

They are in good shape, but need refinishing - no body work, but paint. I came across a set of NOS fronts so I decided to go for it! Ready to put on now, but the backside needs something.

I've had success so far on my '38 by just driving slow when I'm on gravel. We put a rubberized undercoating on the underside of my fenders.

It comes in either quart or gallons with an applicator gun OR you can get it in aerosol cans. Aerosol is really the way I am going. It is not the same as automotive paints with hardeners that aerosol cant easily duplicate. The aerosol is the exact same product in every way. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 178 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 178 | Denny is right yet again. The first time I saw 3m body schutz used I was hooked. It dries hard but remains flexible enough to survive a flex here and there without cracking. My Porsche 911sc rockers and trunk are lined with stuff and painted bright guards red. They look amazing. Just get the $25 gun online and spray it on lightly. It looks like crap if you try and use it to cover up things by putting it on too heavy. I'm doing my 47AD underside in the next few weeks.

I have had my website for about 14 years now, but as of a few months ago, I have a forum with unlimited picture gallery ability. There is no struggle, just upload and everyone can enjoy. It has the ability to show the link here so you can share with everyone here. Of course you have to register, but its free and it has a slideshow built in so people can click thru things easily. forums.devestechnet.com then picture gallery. Glad to help if you run into any snags.

I have to fix a number of PB links and I don't understand the problem people are having. It's actually quite simple. I have a sticky in the ITShortbus forum on how to do it and Dads50 made a video as well. What issues are you having?

It works great, no stars and less noise. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | And......what would that product be and where might one find it Colin????

It's called Rubberized Asphalt Undercoating. Giving you a brand name won't do you any good because the stuff I buy is Canadian (I can't remember the name off hand), but if you ask at your local store I think they should have an idea...
