I'm stripping my 48 and wondering how toxic it is.

I work in a paint shop, and we don't worry too much about lead. It generally isn't too dangerous to adults, but we wear respirators just in case. There is lead in the seams, filled in the factory, if you are worried about that.

Some times the chemicals that are used to strip paint are more toxic then the paint itself.
