Anyone know if the clamp part of the vac advance is availiable separately?

I've been searching lone and can find the vac advance. But they do not include the clamp.

I rebuilt four or five a few years back before I made the move,
and used the old clamp. I don't think they were being reproduced back then.

that little shoulder screw will be hard to find.
the 1/4-20 fillister head should be no problem.

I have a spare distributor for my 55 that I do not need. Let me see tonight if the clamp is still good. If it is, you can have it for a quality 6 pack.

I may have something worked out.

I think i have one in my garage from an old parts distributor you can have if you need one.

Such a small parts to not be reproduced seems odd to me.

I've checked some of the tractor sites also

Searches for the vac advance show the diaphragm portion but not the clamp.
Looks like the later ones were one piece.
The early ones have that little shoulder bolt to hold the two together.
It's like a 8/32 or 6/32.
I was able to chase the treads with a jewelers file and got a new nut.
A new 1/4-20 x 1 1/4 fillister hear screw is on order
The newer style have a hex head.
