A previous owner enlarged the cutouts on my 52. I am going to try to cut pieces and weld them into place, Can someone give me the height of the original cutout? Is this cutout necessary? I'm just building a daily driver / farm truck.

I have the sides off my 53 and the top of the cutout is 4 Inches from the bottom.
The shape of the cutout is unusual and Id take a photo but have yet to figure out how to post them despite all the instructions.

Thanks Stan, I've seen some pictures that give me an idea of the shape.
