Whats the best one to buy, ease of installation ? Tips? Any help would be appreciated. I knew somethings would probably be different as they don't list a harness for my application. The main differences are; most of the '48 fuses are omitted (no more head light fuses) The fuel sending unit wire is too short. No courtesy light wire, or steering column horn wire Other then that it looks and works great for me. It is $500 as opposed to $750 & $950 I was quoted from some of the popular "wire harness" vendors here. _________________________ | | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | For the 48 2 ton I had the harnesses made at Narragansett Reproductions, in RI as well. They make original (100 point) harnesses and will customize them as well. They made a main cab harness with directionals, 1 wire alt, and a volt meter instead of ammeter. Also added a branch for the automatic trans and it cost less than the high end plastic harnesses sold by the online suppliers. Also made a rear harness for the 12ft flat bed to my drawings (original had 1 tail/brake light) with individual brake, tail, directional, backup and side mounted gas tank. Looks original and their over braiding is great.
