Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 | I am sarting a restoration on a '29 Chevy and need to get it titled eventually. To do this I need the VIN and am not sure where it is located. I found a metal tag in the engine compartment on the fire wall, but it is all worn off. Is this it? Can someone tell me where it is located and if anyone has any pictures of where I can find it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks everyone. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 | Sorry, Serial Number, not VIN. Did they use the one stamped on the engine or a different numbering system? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | Maybe someone has 1929 ID information. Here is some information for 1928. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 16 | Thanks. This should be what I'm looking for. I believe they are about the same except for the engine size. Placement should be close. Thanks again! | | |
