Hi guys.
Been searching for a picture of the floorboard on my 59 Chevy 3/4 ton P/U. The metal around my gas pedal is all mangled and I don't know what it is supposed to look like, so I don't know how, or if I should even try to fix it. Couldn't find pics in the manual or online. Google didn't even know.
I've attached a pic showing what I have now. I would appreciate any direction I can get.

Rick,

You're missing the gas pedal heel pivot pin ell bracket that goes in the indented square area.

The folded down piece of metal is what's left of the cage that holds the felt seal washer around the linkage rod.

The two 1/4" holes above the rod are used to hold the linkage on the engine side of the firewall on V8 models only, you have a 6-cylinder.

The dent above the rod needs to be hammered back out to reshape the firewall.

The trans cover area looks right.

I can send pictures of two cabs I have if needed. PM me your email, I don't have a photobucket account.

Maybe you can zoom in on this. There may be better pics in my album if you have time to look for them.
