Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 56 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 56 | I have a 59 Apache and I put a Chevy SB 305 in it. However, my oil pressure gauge is mechanical and uses copper line. Where on the engine can I connect the copper oil pressure line? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 568 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 568 | Wouldn't it be behind the distributer? Oh don't cross with your temp gauge tube if it's mechanical. I made a nice fire ball under my dash when my oil pressure gauge got hot and melted the temp gauge tube and burned the ether.
Kinda a pain, I made a trap door in my firewall. Easy to get the distributor and wires now.

I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you.
