1.Would a SM465(I have in the garage) give me a higher top speed? Or do they have the same top gear?
2.If so would the stick shift adapter and the reverse lock out shifter fit it off the original tranny?

1.No, both transmissions are 1 to 1 in high gear, direct drive.
2.No, those two transmissions are totally different from one another including dimensions.
