| | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 60 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 60 | After removing the oversize watermelon bed from the truck and selling it to a needy farmer a 174 wheel base or 14 ft beds are not a easy find so far here in Georgia or may be its my limited experience.I have the rail wood i saved and the attaching bolts what have some of you done to overcome this odd wheel base bed dilemma? Any with a bed that doesn't fit there truck?

You could always shorten the frame to accept a smaller bed. That is unless you prefer to have the longer wheelbase.
I have noticed that the shorter wheelbase big bolts are more desirable than the long ones, and therefore easier to sell.
It might be worth considering.
