From the desk of your president...

Every year about this time I recall all the great events and get-togethers of the past 12 months and just smile a smile of thankfulness.

2015 is rolling up to be our biggest yet. For you computer techies out there a 6-12 month calendar would be great to set them all down.

Jan-Feb Georges Junkyard Tour

Jan 31 weekend Amtrakjoe's Teardown and Tour

Spring Homecoming @ Friendship Forest

Tidewater community is getting together the first weekend of March.

Late Spring Blue Ridge Parkway Tour (Itinerary TBA)

May 28-30 ATHS York, Pa National Convention

That's just the first five months!

Looking forward to a great New Year!

Your presidential servant,

Cosmo

I can't complain one bit about 2014. Once the winter of 13/14 finally ended, we couldn't of asked for nicer weather this summer than we have had in a long time. Managed to make it to my to favorite events of the year, Homecoming and Winchester this year and even squeaked in a little picnic and truck show here at the house in August that turned out to be fun.
So no complaints but couldn't hurt to wish for even a better year in 2015.
Hope it's great for all my ODSS and Stovebolt Brothers and Sisters.

Speaking of 2014 and then into the future of 2015. George (NAPCO) called me one day and asked if I had space in the corral for a 66 K10. I did. She (the wife) agreed, George and I settled. And been driving it since. Over 1300 miles of around town, to work and to SB HQ. Beautiful truck as it stands. Stovebolt has been making me smarter on 1963-1966 trucks, 6 cylinder motors, 4X4, and step sides - which is nice. And the event has given me a reason to shop for more tools, parts and other bits and pieces. LET'S GO JUNKING in 2015. My list just got longer.
Also if you have been keeping track, many others are in our area and we should like to break them free of their garages for group therapies. Cheers to all on 1 Jan 2015.

Well said, Mr. President. harrumphs all around, I say!

And what better way to keep all these awesome ODSS bonding opportunities straight than with a really cool Erik Hildebrandt edition 2015 ODSS Wall Calendar? Find them here

Happy New Year, brothers!
