I tried this a couple of times in the Engine Forum with no luck, so trying it here. Does anyone know where to get a heat riser spring for a 66 292, 65 and earlier are not the same. I have tried everything that I can think of, with no luck. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

You should be able to get away without using the heat riser...I had no issues with mine. If you can find any 230-250-292 engine at a junk yard you probably could find one there.
