1950 3100 radiator?

earlier mounting pad
50-55 mounting pads

Metal shims (of different thickness and numbers) are used between radiator-mount pad and frame to help align body parts (alignment of fenders, hood, grill to cab - if necessary.

Thanks for the information Tim. I have a47-49 core support. That I'm planning on using with my 50 burb. This burb started out on s gmc frame when I bought it. I changed the front cross member to a chevy cross member snd have a 47-49 core support. As you can see it's a conglomeration of parts. I'm hoping that it will come together and work with my Chevy sheet metal.

Check the fender-to-cab body line gap. If it's tapered from top to bottom, add or remove shims to help align the front sheet metal with the doors. Typical bodywork- - - - -if it looks good it IS good, no matter what needs to go on under the skin to make the sheet metal fit. Don't try that approach inside an engine!
