Check the fender-to-cab body line gap. If it's tapered from top to bottom, add or remove shims to help align the front sheet metal with the doors. Typical bodywork- - - - -if it looks good it IS good, no matter what needs to go on under the skin to make the sheet metal fit. Don't try that approach inside an engine!
