My stepside truck didn't have the OEM guards on the cab that keep gravel / mud off the bed steps.

Rather than buy a set I fabricated them, and changed the design a bit to cover the back reveal on the truck cab. These bolt to the stock mounting holes on the rear cab supports.

Worked pretty well, I have about $15 in the pair.
