The hood spear emblems that say, "General Motors Truck" do not have the clips that hold them on. Does anyone know what they look like? Any help would be appreciated. A picture would be awesome! Thanks for your PM's. That is one AWESOME GMC! Thanks for the photos and input on your side emblems. Maybe GM had changed attachment methods by '45 to the bend-over arrangement that you have. I still remember though, on my '41, that there were clips of some sort holding them on the hood. They were some sort of spring steel that held them very tightly because they were a pain in the hind end to get off. I think I actually ruined them in the process. I am certain someone out there knows what I am talking about. Would someone please go out to the garage and take a look? Thanks!
