Hello,
I have two Harrison Heaters that came with my truck when I bought it. Is there a registry or anything that can tell me which one is the correct one that would have been in the truck from the factory?

Thanks,
Bobby

Bobby,
Here are some photos of the heater for the 1946 Chevy. You will need two ducts under the dash (they fit in the slits at the top of the dash) for the windshield defroster to work.
Be aware that many types of heaters were used in these trucks-whatever could be found, but the heater below was the only one listed in the Salesman's Handbook.

no 'registry' about anything on these old trucks, but you can find various manuals here, there may be something in the Master Parts Manual .... but heaters were dealer installed accessories, not factory options, so your truck didn't come with one from the factory

Thanks Harold and Bill!

Harold,
Good news is that one of the heaters looks like the one in your picture. The bad news is that it is missing the defroster blower portion off the top.

Thanks,
Bobby

Bobby,
Place a notice in the Parts Wanted section. You may get lucky. Be sure & ask for a photo to verify you get the right one. You may even post a photo of what you want. Also check Ebay from time time. They do pop up.
Good luck,
Harold
I have added 3 more photos of the heater.
