I have a '50 but it is bigger than what I want. I'm currently planning to run a 292 unless cost proves to be prohibitive. My question is are the cabs, hood, radiator shell and front fenders the same on the 1 1/2 ton trucks as they are on the smaller 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks or are they bigger? I'm just thinking it will be easier to find a bigger truck. Thanks!

Fenders will not be due to bigger tires on bigger trucks. Also, check with some of the owners of '36 trucks from the gallery, and ask about wood in the cabs. I think they still had hardwood frames in them. This may be an extra expense you won't want to deal with. I'm thinking that maybe I can replace that with metal reinforcement and incorporate some roll protection with that. Not sure how that would work as this would be my first cab of this style and I'm a very amature body man and welder. Just kind of learning as I go. Thanks again!

It has all the '37 specs along with the '36. I believe it was for salesman to study so he new what he was selling. They compare the new 37 to the old 36. Lots of 37 pictures. 195 pages
