I would find it very easy, just time, that is all. But unless you have some good basic welding and planning skills you would have a hard time. Oldcar, chopping isn't hard but it can be time consuming. only 3" shouldn't be bad at all. if you slant the posts expect a lot more work vs stretching the top like martin did. 51 looks great with stretched top IMHO but slanted posts are still my favorite. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 804 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 804 | This is it today. What you like today will not be what will turn your crank in thirty years, I guarantee it. You may still "like" it, but it won't be something you want on your arm. I said, I am darn glad I didn't tattoo on those cuffed bellbottoms I loved so much in 1976. I think that puts things into perspective. He is tattooless.

No tattoo's for me either! However, why do I still love those 50 year-old fat fenders?!!? :confused: Some things DO withstand the test of time, but NOBODY knows which things until a few decades have elapsed!  | | |
