I read all the post I could find concerning the t5 transmission modification. The difference from AD to art deco trucks is the bellhousing. For 37 thru 46 the Ebrake and master cylinder are attached to the bellhousing, after some research I found a company called vintage metalworks out of Ohio who makes the correct spacer for these applications. I went ahead and ordered two.with this I can install the 235 s10 t5 transmission and I haven't figured out the rear end yet.ill keep you posted on the outcome.can anyone suggest a good rear end that will work for this truck and that comes with disc brakes? Also is there a disc brake conversion for the front to keep it 6 lug? It will read 1352-### This website offers fairly accurate decoding, but the year does not always match. I have found errors, so I recommend checking it yourself using the methods I outline below.
