OK, for those who know me, I've got several projects and one is a really straight (metal wise, NOT cherry as in paint/interior) 1966 Chrysler New Yorker that is showing 138K.
for every vehicle I have, I like to get another drive train "just in case" and found a buddy that closed his shop and selling off TONS OF boats (mostly inboards) and trailers and some other items. One of which is a '73-4 Winnebago motorhome. I asked what motor, how much? And he said 200.00 and it's YOURS!!
Couldn't get the $$ fast enough since it only shows 38xxK miles!! for a BIG block 440/HD torqueflight trans.
A couple weeks later he called and said "putting the place up for sale, WHEN CAN YOU HAVE IT OUTTA HERE..???" GULP!
He said I can dismantle it there and haul off the chassis within the next few weeks.
Took a look-see under and it's a solid beam front, 8-lug disc and the rear looks to be a Dana 60? Dually.
Can't see under there all to well. tall grass, flat tires soft ground for jacking are kinda hindering me.
I'm just guessing it being MOPAR axles since the engine and trans are.
DOES ANYONE KNOW what they might be?
I know that I already have the HD3500 front axle, but if this would be a "TRUE" bolt in, it might be better suited for the 64-two ton that I was swapping to.
In my excitement i forgot all about what else there was to strip from it..
New fridge, Onan 4000K generator (540hrs), toaster oven, 110v converter to 12v, fuel/pottable water tanks, Hot water heater and TONS OF GOOD WIRING!!

I borrowed one and MAN! I gotta get me one of these!
The plan is to pull my 20' trailer along side and cut the walls at the edges and let them fall on the trailer, (persuade them with a forklift) and take them to the dump. Then a bud said I can park the chassis on his property to strip the rest.
...Kinda long question/story. Sorry.
