For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 5 | I have a 1951 Chevrolet pickup. In the past someone jury rigged the piece that connects the actuating lever to the lever on the motor that turns it on and off. The manual gives no indication of what it might be like, just says to take the pin loose and remove it.
First off what is it like and second where might I find one. What would I even ask for? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | Its just a pc. of 1/8 inch rod with a Z bend one one end and a 90 bend on the other side. You could put an add in Parts Wanted here and there are many of them out there.I could send you one but right now but my garage is packed up setting on the patio waiting for the new garage to get built. You can get the new rubber grommets from Clasic Parts of America.
