Fire Engine Brakes Question

I have a '52 GMC that has a cable-operated hydraulic brake valve at the end of the hydrovac unit. It is used when operating the fire pump. The knob is pulled at the dash, and the cable pulls the lever about 90 degrees. This "locks" the pressure in the brake system, providing a "parking brake" effect. The normal parking brake squeezes the drive line, which needs to spin for pumping the midship fire pump.

Question: What is this unit called, and how can I fix the leak from the shaft (comes out of the valve and has the lever attached to it. I am tired of losing brake fluid.

Thank you. I was looking at replacing it with the "cable lock" they sell, until I found out it retails for $990.

I'll try to find the right rubber seals and copper discs so I can repair it (hopefully).

I appreciate the help!
