does anyone know if the interior panel that gets screwed on behind the window crank and door latch gets any white paint on it ?

Upon further review I think the answer is no. The panel appears to be the same "fawn" color as the rest of the interior on a 1962.

Hot Rod John you are correct as they were all painted the same color Fawn. My custom cab was all the same color inside. The truck was bought by my dad in 62. He was the original owner.
