I'd think someplace like McMaster-Carr would have suitable rubber.

I'll have to sneak out to the garage and try to find the box it's in to take some pics. Here you go. Not mine but made the same way. Flat rubber held in shape by the hub.

Cut 3 exactly the same size to avoid wobble.
If they need to be molded for a curve, heat them gently in the oven then set them at the curve you need til cool.

How long have you lived in VA?
"In the day", fans were common everywhere in order to give some relief and minimal evaporative drying by pushing air across sweaty parts (unless the humidity was 100%).
I miss those days.

I miss those days. Therein lies the problem,Tim. Our summer air is a fluid, seemingly of a higher viscosity than water. I had a modern fan in a work truck once, but when it was on, it felt like the furnace was on. Carl
