look at CPP, I got mine from there for disc brakes front and drum rear. I know that they have all kinds of different P. valves to go with them not to mention vacuum assist or no assist.

I used one from a mid '70s C10 with drums on my '56. It should work as well on a '54.
They use the same brakes.

You need an adapter bracket to bolt it up.

I got it from CPP. It is offered by most of the specialty vendors.

Here is a write-up about the conversion on my '56. It is different from the '54 but it should give you the general idea.

Hi Keith
I have upgraded the MC to a dual reservoir, I went on the raybestos site and found what I was looking for that was for brake drums all around, here is the link for a 67 Camaro,
http://www.raybestosbrakes.com/magnoliaPublic/home/catalog/product.html?partNumber=MC36233

I had to make a bracket to mount it and make up new lines etc. Maybe this will give you some ideas

The reason my lady and I have been together so long is because of the kids. Neither one of us wanted sole custody

I did the dual reservoir update, it was a four day process. Thanks to the "mechanic" that said, "We dont need to bench bleed it, we can just bleed it after it's on..." Well after three days of not getting any fluid to the back brakes I finally just took it off the truck and bench bled it. "Amazing!", he said. All's fine now.

I used Classic Parts for the updated parts. Mount kit #71-984 $89.95 and #71-201 master cylinder $54.95.

You will have to enlarge/move the hole in the floor to fill/check the new reservoir or fashion another remote way to deal with it.

Barring not bench bleeding the first time, it only took me about 3 hours to take stock stuff off and replace with new stuff.
