We found our truck in Alachua Florida and purchased it 1/2014. We are the 3rd owner of this 1949 Chevy all original truck with a 216 engine and 3 on the tree. The 2nd owner only drove the truck ½ mile down a dirt road occasionally and then stored it in the barn. Has 60,000 original miles on the truck with 1 re-paint. Motor has never been out of the truck runs and looks great!
While the truck does not need a lot of work I found the StoveBolt forum and have found valuable information. Now when my wife and I are doing the car and truck shows we are always recommending to go find Stovebolt website you will find all the information you need.
The name happens to be the name of the gentlemen we purchased the truck from.
