My truck has a nicely made pipe bumper, stout but not to my taste. The tailgate hits it when lowered and I'm wondering if the stock bumper and brackets would do the same. Thanks John
Are you saying that the tailgate hits the bumper before the chains are taught?
The stock rear bumper brackets have a significant drop built into them to prevent what you may be experiencing.
