How folks, I have the original Custom cab panel trim/covers from my 64. I left them off after I painted because I just could not bring myself into drilling holes in the cab where I took so much care to weld up...

Well.. I am think about putting them back on.

Do you guys, gals, have any tips on cleaning that aluminuminized, oxidation back up? I think these thing are aluminum.
I know you can buy new ones..

Drill the holes... it's all good

The custom cab panels are aluminum... and they are not anodized, at least the oem pair I have aren't. Here's what I do to bring back a shine on aluminum:
* 1st use buffing compound,
* followed by polishing compound,
* finish with some Mother's Mag Cleaner.
