Due to the pedestal that AD sits up on the distance to the floor is the issue. The stock seat height is 11" add 2.75" to the floor pan.
New Envoy bucket is 13.5 adding 2.75" means over 16" for your leg to hit the floor.
This is quite a bit more than most trucks so I am back to lower the pedestal or seat mount. Any thoughts?

My 54 panel truck has after market bucket seats installed.
They are way to high because of the under seat base.
When I try to get out of the truck, my head hits the top door jam.
I'm 6'2" so I have to duck down to get out or wear a hard hat.
Sitting on the seat, my eyes line up with the upper edge of the windshield.
I do have the original drivers seat that I plan on reinstalling, along with the auxiliary seat.

Spec says: original stock seat height for 53 panel is 14 3/4" from floorboard to the top of seat cushion.

You might have to fabricate your own under seat base.
The original seats dimensions are that way for a reason.
i.e. easy Ingress and Egress from the vehicle and proper eye height.

Greetings; Thankyou, I did not even consider the ingress and egress thing. Most trucks I have measured seem to be in the 14 to 15" range overall floor to top of seat.
I am sitting at 16.5" with these seats.
Sounds like in order to have correct vision and other I would have to lower the pedestal. This may not be a bad idea in that
improved fasteners and thicker material can be used.
Would create a drop between rear floor and front. Rally good feedback. cheers

Many years ago I installed a Chevy LUV seat in my sons AD pickup. Just the right height and fit was really good.

Lower the pedestal or remove it,depending on height !!!!

Great. I did some mock ups for vision and getting in and out.
With these Envoy seats will cut out the pedestal and install one eighth sheet steel. All is good. cheers

I'm sure if you post that seat riser in the parts for sale section,it will sell quick. Keep it all in one piece without butchering it.
