It has 49 doors with it, the doors and cab are in good shape(no rust and pretty dent free), just sitting in gray primer. I am thinking of buying it and the guy selling it doesn't know how much it is worth. I visited a guy in Salinas who just sold a 50 cab for $600, but the problem is the value vs condition. I bet you can pay far more or even less depending on how much times it was used for gun practice.

Every time I have something like that for sale I can't sell it for $50 and probably end up paying to get it hauled off. But, if I need one desperately I can't find one under $2,000 less than 3,000 miles away.

It's rust free and primed and ready for paint with just a few dents to repair. Not to mention good cab corners to boot. Unlike mine which pretty soon will be driven like a Flinstone car! If you do not know, or if it was not an epoxy primer, or you do not know how well the metal was prepared before applying the primer, you might want to take it back to bare metal. In that case, you might want to haggle.
However, if it is a good cab, I agree with 41CgevyTrucker, $700 is not a bad price.
Oh yeah, is it a 5 window or 3 window cab?

I plan on chopping and extending the cab anyways so I will have to take it down to bare metal. Like you said hopefully not too much bondo. I'm still decideing on whether I am going to build up another cab or not. The cab I have now is chopped and stretched but the bondo is starting to crack from opening and closeing the doors(stress), and the cab corners need to be replaced also. But it is a driver. I don't know if I should tear this one down to bare metal and find and fix all proablems or just build another one. | | |
