Our throttle link from the pedal through the firewall doesn't link to the throttle swivel at the some location in the engine block. The throttle link is too long.
Whats the most common fix for this?

On my '53 235 w/Powerglide it is drilled and tapped. Was this rear pivot point used on cars? Carl

There is another tapped hole just behind the exhaust manifold. I was able to move the pivot pin there. It was plugged with a standard drive screw... geeze! Finally got it loose after removing the intake/exhaust manifolds to get positive access. What a bugger.
The linkage from the 216 fits great.
