Okay, I see. There is another tapped hole just behind the exhaust manifold. I was able to move the pivot pin there. It was plugged with a standard drive screw... geeze! Finally got it loose after removing the intake/exhaust manifolds to get positive access. What a bugger.
The linkage from the 216 fits great.
