I have located GMC Envoy leather seats that look pretty good. The rear seat is also available but looks difficult to install. These seats would mean going away from stock mounting and may have motor vehicle inspection issues. Please advise. cheers

Motor vehicle inspection issues are different from province to province. I was recently pulled over in my work van because the officer saw a passenger sitting in the back seat of a van that didn't come with a back seat. When he saw that the seat was bolted down and had seatbelts, he was satisfied.
