I'm new to this website here and I have recently purchased a a 1952 Chevy 1300 and I can't seem to figure out what engine is in my truck. I have done my research online and I can't seem to fine any matches to the numbers I found. I have the numbers from the block behind the distributer and the number that was casted into the block and I can't seem to find any matches. So the number behind the distributer was c615014. The number that was casted into the block was 3835614. Any imformation on what enginet his is woul be greatly appreciated. I have attached images of the numbers I looked at on the block. According to my research these are the numbers to go by. I will add this is a Canadian truck.

Thanks

Brandon

I would try a search for a 52 chevy 3100 instead of a 1300.

Is there any chance that number would be 3835814? What is the casting number on the head?

Pics didn't work, maybe try it again. Can you find a head casting number?

I can't figure out how to post pictures but the number on the block is definitely 3835614 you can clearly see the difference between the 8 and the 6 and the casting number on the head is 3695451
