The block number is 3769716 which tells me it is a 1958-62 235 engine, the number by the distributer is F0925A that is the part I am having trouble with. I know the F stands for the Flint Plant and the 09 should be the month but what is the rest?????? I would like to install the right spark plugs it had AC R46 Acniters in it. Is this a car or truck engine??? Thanks for your help!!!

On Dist side near starter. first is a letter A-Jan, B-Feb etc. then number for day of the month and lastly single number for year ie. 9 for 1959 etc. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | F0925A; F is Flint plant, 0925 would be September 25th assembly date, A is Passenger car 235 with manual transmission. As noted in the previous post, there will be a casting date near the starter.
