Someone has suggested 20 inches of vacuum, but I have no way to measure that.

BTW Mine (from Arizona) had been in the truck since new, I just sent it out to the fellow (wiperman) in NY who rebuilt it and it works perfectly. A great deal for a little over $100 IMO
