Has anybody used the A/D grey heater paint before? What primer would you recommend, and any special tips on using it?

Thanks!

IF this is the hammer finish spray paint, it is supposed to work best on bare metal. I have used hammerite on transformers with good results.

Question: Is this paint a medium gray color or closer to a silver?

I've had really good luck with my powder coater. He's a perfectionist. Hammer finish in any color you want.

I haven't opened the can as of yet. The clock seems to really run when you open the can. Anybody disagree with the bare metal (no primer) direction?

Seems spooky to me, but if that's the way, I will give it a shot. Will a 1.4 gun be about right or do I jump up to the 2.0?

Thanks!

I was talking about the spray can hammerite. I can't be sure what JC is selling but the spray can hammerite is said to work best on bare metal and that is how I have used it.

I'm working all day and haven't gotten to do that yet. I did send an email via their catalog server, but didn't get a reply. I clearly need to reduce the pace of my life. Near full time job, trying to build a web site, helping with several campaigns, looking for a permanent job, rebuilding an AD chevy, finishing the house...

I'm tired!!!
