Hello everyone 46 1/2 I am somewhat unclear on how much oil to add to the transmission in the manual it say's the capacity Is 1 1/2 pints it also say's when reinstalling the trans to put 1 pint in through the speedometer gear is this in addition to or part of the 1 1/2 pints you add

Thx Kevin

if the trans has been emptied/rebuilt/cleaned out, maybe put some in the speedo hole to insure it doesn't start dry, fill via the main fill/check hole until it's right up to that hole, and starts to run back out, which from dry will be roughly the measure given
