weird....my 49 has frame holes and lower mount for front lever arm shocks and (riveted on) tubular shock rear mounts.... my truck is early 49...

would have thought it should have front and rear lever arm or at least if its going to have tube shocks it should have front and back matching.

Check the rivets real close and see if they match the rivets elsewhere on the truck. Someone may have riveted the tube shock mounts on at a later date. I would guess it would be difficult to perfectly match a factory rivet job. Don't you love mysteries?
