This is a 4 speed, very low 1st gear trans. Look at the passenger side of the trans, it should have a PTO or PTO plate in about the middle of the trans. If it has a PTO on the driver's side down low, you may have an SM465, another well built trans.

Is it certain it is a 465? Also I have read that most bell housing wil marry this trans with a 350. Do you know if it is true or not. | | |
